Kingdom Pathways is a Native Hawaiian, community-driven non-profit dedicated to environmental restoration, cultural preservation, and social justice in Waiʻanae, Oʻahu. Kingdom Pathways seeks a qualified media production team to document the Kānaka ‘Ōiwi Advisory Hui program in action. This initiative focuses on mentorship, leadership development, and environmental stewardship, providing a platform for intergenerational learning and cultural preservation. The final deliverables will serve as a powerful storytelling tool to support Kingdom Pathways outreach, engagement, and funding efforts.


Job Summary

The selected media team will capture high-quality footage of program participants in both classroom and field settings, highlighting key moments of mentorship, learning, and hands-on activities. B-roll footage will be collected throughout the program to showcase engagement and interaction. Additionally, interviews will be conducted with pre-selected participants, program leaders, and educators to provide personal insights into the program’s impact.


Deliverables

The final content will be used across multiple platforms, including Kingdom Pathways’ website, social media, and funding proposals. The required deliverables include:

  1. Program Overview Video – A 3-minute video summarizing the program’s impact.
  2. Program Impact for Social Media – A 1-minute video for social media outreach.
  3. Social media reels – Short videos 30 seconds featuring impactful soundbites for broader audience engagement.


Proposal Submission Requirements

Interested candidates should submit:

  • A brief company/individual background
  • Portfolio of relevant work
  • Proposed project approach & timeline
  • Cost breakdown
  • References in documentary-style storytelling 


Submission Deadline: March 24, 2025

 Location: Remote or Hybrid (Hawai‘i-based candidates preferred)
Contract-based compensation, determined by experience
