HĀNAI KAIĀULU

SEE THEIR WORK

HĀNAI KAIĀULU X KINGDOM PATHWAYS

Moku o Keawe Kānaka Career Event

Hānai Kaiāulu is a nonprofit dedicated to nurturing youth leadership and expanding how young people see their future.

Kingdom Pathways was honored to be invited by Hānai Kaiāulu to share our ʻāina-based work through hands-on engagement and exposure to real-world stewardship roles, youth are encouraged to look at career pathways through a different lens.

If you love birds — consider working with DOFAW to protect native species.
If you’re a fisherman — join DLNR / DOCARE and safeguard our waters.
If you love our kai — work with DAR to protect marine ecosystems.

Environmental stewardship is not separate from career — it is a pathway.

When youth see themselves reflected in environmental careers, they begin to understand: Stewardship is not just volunteer work it can be a profession.

Kingdom Pathways

This is what partnership looks like shared learning, shared responsibility, and youth stepping into stewardship with confidence.

Three-time $15K awardees by American Savings Bank. Check out their Keikico 2024 video — youth-led innovation serving our houseless ʻohana with respect.

Planting native species and strengthening shoreline biodiversity at Mākaha Beach.

Learning how to monitor our kai and understand environmental impacts.

Observing where our water has gone — and how we can better steward our wai in Kaupuni Watershed.

Restoring our reef right here in our own backyard in Pōka'ī Bay with Kuleana Corals.

Showing up for our keiki with fun, connection, and community presence.
